Jan Desmarets

Art Creation bring to life
Jan Desmarets (Ypres, January 21 1961) is a Flemish beeldhouwer.Hij spent his childhood in Wervik. He studied sculpture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. Wedding gift for Prince Laurent
Desmarets was born in Ypres. He spent his childhood in Wervik. He studied sculpture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. In 2003 he was commissioned by the then Prime Minister of Belgium Guy Verhofstadt to the wedding gift for Prince Laurent and Princess Claire.
