Elbe Stevens

Elbe Stevens (1968) studied audiovisual design at the St. Joost Academy in Breda. During his studies he won the Movies screenplay prize at the film festival in Rotterdam. He then worked as a writer and director participated in many drama and comedy productions, for both public and commercial broadcasters.
In 2011 he was nominated along with Pieter Bart Korthuis and Franky Ribbens for Lira screenplay prize for his contribution to “Penoza (KRO). The series has now been bought in America by ABC Studios.

Besides television work Elbe always work autonomously. He has six short films including “Behind the Wall” (2010) with Mimoun Oaïssa and “Anatole” (2011) with Derek de Lint is the best known. They have been released in more than twenty countries (including Canal +).

Recently Elbe presents itself as a film producer. Along with Bijker Film / TV and AVRO produces long feature film “The Sword of D’Artagnan (premiere fall 2013).

Elbe is also a regular guest lecturer at the Hogeschool Leeuwarden, Amsterdam university, academy Maastricht, Arcus College Heerlen and Script School in Amsterdam.
